Collapsible heat exchanger (RPTO) it consists of groups (series) of plates located between the fixed and movable planes, and fastened together by rods and held in the desired position by means of two guides. The heat exchanger plates, provided with gaskets and bonded together, form minimal gaps and are called "channels", where the fluid flow of the primary and secondary cycles goes independently. Since the plates are corrugated, the fluid flow path is tortuous, which causes an increase in the heat transfer coefficient.
Soldered plate heat exchangers of the ZB series are widely used in all types of heat and cold supply systems that require reliability and safety.
